Vivacity 20 Twin Keel Sailboat With Trailer

Vivacity 20 "Kate", sailed out of Holy Island for 10 years, previously "Carrot" at West Kirby, stated age approximate. Tough little boat for drying mooring, estuary, or lake sailing. Mariner 4hp, 2 stroke outboard. Twin axle 2000kg road trailer by Wessex Trailers pre-1986 and road legal with non-reversing brakes, updated with modern Knott KRV20 coupling. These brakes will not jam when reversing.

New wheel bearings and stainless steel brake cables 2018. Trailer good for delivery anywhere. Fitted out inside for weekending, very simple layout, with chemical toilet. Comfortable enclosed double berth forward, small quarterberth suitable child. Hull very sound, due to simple layout, no sink, no sea toilet, no log, the only outlets in the hull are cockpit drains.

Bilges very dry and steel reinforcing within fibreglass showing no corrosion. Windows recently removed and resealed so no leaks. New lower stays fitted 2018. New mainsail 2017, with slab reefing. Working hanked on jib and other spare sails, including spinnaker and pole (mast requires spinnaker fitting), and old genoa.

Includes mast raising and lowering kit. August 2018 new marine ply cockpit locker tops fitted and non-slip surfaces repainted in Squall Blue. Inventory: Mariner 4hp Two Stroke circa 1993 with instruction manual, fuel can and mixing bottle, mooring ropes, fenders, boat hook, mainsail cover, danbuoy with lifebelt, binoculars, sighting compass, double berth cushions, occasional seating cushions, 7.5kg Bruce anchor with 27 metres 1/4 inch chain, Entel hand-held VHF with charger, 12v VHF set ( not fitted) with mast ariel, red ensign.
