Wayfarer Sailing Dinghy - Decent Condition / Complete - No Trailer- Hereford

Our old but sound wayfarer has not seen the water for too long and needs a new loving home. Its a fibreglass cruising boat, simply rigged and has been well used - its been painted over the years and well maintained with any repairs properly completed when necessary and everything required for sailing straight away with the exception of bungs for the transom! It is however not new and I would welcome viewing to assure you are happy with it since bids are bids to buy. There is a new cover but no trailer or trolley and though I put a nominal build date - I cannot be sure of that - it has sail number 8710 but there is no hull number on the hull so offer it as seen. It is complete with the required bits and pieces: Cruising mainsail with two lines of reef points and a floatation patch at the top.

Two jibs - one shown rigged and one rather catching yellow option (dated 2007 - though I cannot guarantee that); a really good condition spinnaker which we have never used. Main and jib sheets and spinnaker pole included though spinnaker rigging would need to be sorted out. Rudder and centreboard - aluminium rudder stock and tiller / extension. Proctor mast and boom with kicking strap - floor boards in solid condition. It came home for refit some while ago and stayed put until new gunwhales were made up and fitted.

The hull has been painted - the decks are two tone grey. Floor boards are good and solid marine ply - overall it is an ideal starter boat which could be refitted and revamped or simply used and appreciated! However, It all has marks and bumps and grazes - solid and serviceable but not boat show condition and used rather than polished! I do not own the trailer and cannot therefore include it - however it would be available to borrow or I may be able to assist with delivery in due course - though please discuss first! Any questions welcomed and viewing is recommended - we are halfway between Hereford and Worcester and though not expert will try to answer as best we can.

We need it gone asap following sale and may be able to assist with loan of the trailer its on or delivery / meeting on the way etc but please be aware we are selling to the highest bidder and are away from the end of July so gone it must be! Thanks for looking.
