Westerly Centaur Sailing Cruiser

My Westerly Centaur Sailing Cruiser offers the C Layout which means it will sleep 4 adults in comfort in two cabins and allows a huge cockpit locker for dinghy, fenders and warps etc. This means you don't have to store all your wet deck accessories in the cabin as you do with the other Centaur Layouts. The cabin features a very sturdy, drop down table which will seat four adults comfortably. I had the interior cushions replaced last year by Comfort Afloat in Fareham, offering a very clean and comfortable interior. She also has masses of storage space below.

I am reluctantly having to sell my well loved boat as I am being relocated in the near future and the price I am asking reflects the wish to sell her fairly quickly. She is extremely seaworthy and we crossed the Channel last year and cruised the Channel Islands, so a very well found boat that would suit a family wanting to sail without breaking the bank. Westerly Centaurs have bilge keels which allow them to dry out safely and also mean that they can take advantage of drying moorings which are significantly cheaper than deep water moorings. Her engine is the original Volvo MD2B - 25hp which was fully (engine out) serviced in 2012 with new head gasket, rings and injectors professionally serviced. New engine mounts were fitted and also a new plastic fuel tank.

The engine is incredibly reliable and very powerful, turning her into an effective motor sailer when needed. She has been fully rewired in 2015 with marinised cable throughout and the lighting is all LED.
