Westerly Cirrus 22ft Sailing Yacht Boat

Katina is a westerly cirrus 22 foot. She has lots of history and receipts for most of her sales and previous life. I have owned her for several years and unfortunately for the last two years after starting some modification updates i have had no time to complete her. She is for sale as a project for which a knowledgeable person would have no issue bringing her back to life. She has an inboard volvo md2010 diesel which needs to be looked at, I originally planned to lift her out have the engine overhauled whilst doing a few updates and enjoy sailing her more but unfortunately work has taken over.

I brought her in portland where i sailed her back to the devon coast quite happily where she now sits. Engine- unworking volvo md2010greasing piston for bronze prop. In board diesel tank New cutlass bearings -one seasons use New rudder bearings- one seasons usenew lewmar bow hatchin furling mast main sail -workingWindlass controlled genoa 1 and no2Spinnaker and polecoach roof spray hood - worndodgers with name -unused. Nasa wind direction new 2009 st 1000 auto pilot nasa depth/speed internally will need tlc and finishing.currently has new oak cupboards with smoked perspex sliding doors.new covered cushions gas supply for a hob/oven (will need adding)general tidy up and completion. Hull will need prepping and antifouling as you can see from the pictures be gratfull of a good jet wash.

The attached pictures show her in her glory in 2008/9 and the later of her condition now. She needs a new owner who wishes to complete her and enjoy some fun, unfortunately i do not have any spare time for this so she must go. She is advertised elsewhere so i have the right to end the sale, and any sales will need to be paid in full by bank transfer within 24 hours of sale agreement. She is currently ashore in a boat yard with full 24 hour access and electric and water close by. Her storage is around £100 per month and can be transferred quite easily.
