Westerly GK24 Sailing Boat / Yacht

This exciting boat is ready to sail with new Antifoul and all the equipment ready to take to the water.The GK 24 is a fast and re warding boat to sail, but is forgiving enough for the less experienced.This is currently the only one avalaible in the South East of England! Built in 1979 she is a fast boat that will make cruising easy and safe, while being fun and successful on the race course if pushed along. Her Club handicap makes this an attractive boat to race on a budget. This boat will be great for anyone looking to go up in size from a dinghy, as she sails like a dinghy being quick and is responsive with the stability of a much bigger boat. Displacement 3600lbs A full provenance is offered with the boat showing all owners since new. I have owned her since 2005. She has a swinging mooring on the Thames and is kept ashore each winter. She is in a generally good condition, but as with any boat this age there will be areas that could be updated, but none of these effect use of the boat. She was sailed right up to the end of the 2018 season.
