Westerly Tiger Sailing Yacht 25 Foot Similar To Centaur But With A Fin Keel.

Up for sale in My Westerly Tiger Sailing Yacht - very similar to the Westerly Centaur but this boat has the fin keel so was much faster than the centaur. (but obviously needs a deeper mooring as the keel is about 4 foot)The tiger does not suffer from the problems the centaur has with the keel bolts etc. I have only owned this boat since the end of last year, due to work commitments I have been unable to use her and therefore feel somebody could get much better use from her. I have owned another Westerly tiger which in the past I have sailed extensively and they are really good solid boats ideal for the first time boat owner, with a spacious cabin 6ft head room and sleeping for 6 although a little tight of space. If you know about the Westerly yachts then you will know these are extremely well built boats, so much so a number of these tigers have sailed over the Atlantic to the caribbean.EngineAt some point the engine was replaced by a beta marine which seems to be in fantastic order and starts on the button every time - there is a box of spare parts too. Being a sailing boat I would assume this engine has not had much use!! Navigation equipmentNasa Compass, Nasa Log and Depth, Nasa Wind Speed and Direction, Auto Helm (not tested), VHF Radio. Safty equipment, 2 fire extinguishers and a fire blanket SailsMain Sail & Hank on GenoaRoller reefing main sail. Running looks to be okStanding Rigging looks to be ok.The headlining looks to have been replaced at some point and is ok condition. Bad bitsThe boat needs a good clean inside and out.The cushion covers need replacing - no rips or tears but have definitely seen better days.There is a small leak in the window above the sink (probably a squirt of mastic will solve this)The boat has been left closed up for a few months without any ventilation and there are number of mould spots - will probably clean off with a bit of scrubbing.Needs new curtains the tracks are there.My next job would have been to take her out of the water and anti foul the bottom as I do not know when this was last done. The quarter berths - which run underneath the cabin seats - need painting / headlining replaced the headlining has been removed but not replaced so looks a bit rough (photos on request)There maybe other jobs that I am unaware of, this is a 60 year old yacht She is currently sitting in a boat yard / marina in Lowestoft in the water.
