Wilderness Tariler Boat With Trailer

Wilderness Beaver 23 Deluxe 2 berth boat 1986 and trailer. This is an ideal boat to be able to transport around the country on the trailer. You can then visit many different canals. We did 3 weeks on the Norfolk Broads. Some people from the Wilderness Boat Owners Club have also taken their boats over to France and sailed the French canals.

We have owned this boat since July 2012 and had it fully refitted in July 2014. All gas piping renewed and fitted professionally. (Bills can be seen) Saloon area fitted with New full Thetford LPG cooker, Heatsource HS2000 Blow Air Heater with thermostat, Shoreline 12volt fridge with freezer compartment, stainless steel sink with drainer and original Paloma instantaneous water heater. The boat has been refitted with white gloss units which gives the boat an open airy feel. The front two side seats convert into a large double bed or can be used as 2 single beds.

All cushions and curtains are new. Side front windows have been upgraded. Aft of the saloon area is a generous wardrobe with a washroom/toilet opposite, the doors of which interlock to provide a drying/dressing space. Water supply is from 3 plastic tanks under the stern and hold 135L.The tanks are filled from an external screw-threaded filler point. There is the usual cavernous Wilderness Beaver under cockpit storage area for BBQ and folding chairs etc.

Externally, the craft is good condition for its age and the cabin sides and deck surfaces are original manufactured, pigmented gel coat. The two leisure batteries (renewed in 2013) are situated in the bow of the boat and are charged when the engine is running. The cock pit lockers are for petrol, LPG and starter battery. The boat is powered by a tiller-steered Suzuki DF15A Lean Burn outboard engine fitted in April 2013. This is a very economical engine to run.

The Cockpit is fully enclosed by a pram canopy and dodger with 2 removable side doors fitted in April 2013. This can be taken up and down very easily. There is also a bench fitted to sit on whilst sailing along. On the rear of the boat we had fitted a purpose built bike rack which carried our 2 electric bikes without impeding the tiller. Boat Safety Scheme Certificate renewed April 2018 expiry date 22/04/2022 We could deliver if needed at an extra cost once boat is paid for.
