Wooden Slipper Launch Day Boat

White Owl belongs to one of the last remaining fleets of wooden motor boats on the Thames.Built in 1948 by Harts Boatyard the boats were sold to George Wilson in Sunbury who operated a hire boat business.The construction is wood planking and I have had a fair amount of work carried out on the hull and the engine as and when needed.The boat has been re-varnished and re-painted and looks lovely in the water.2 sets of wooden seating which holds 4 people comfortably.Included: Bilge Pump, Oar, Vinyl seating cushions, Inboard 8hp Faryman diesel engines, ropes, fenders.It has been re-painted inside.White Owl has a boat safety certificate until 7th April 2020.Boat is being sold due to relocation.It does not come with a trailer.White Owl was used for a Wedding which is why the boat is decorated with flowers shown in the picture.For more information please message me.
