Yacht - Leisure 23

Curlew is a wonderfully designed little yacht, currently moored in South Dock, London, having sailed (ok, motored) from Limehouse Basin in spring 2015, and from Tollesbury Marina to London in Summer 2014. I've used her as a bachelorette crash pad for occasional weekends and odd days working in London, and she's well set up for this, with dehumidifier, electric blanker and heater included. Motherhood has forced a return to bricks and mortar, and unfortunately, while I'm back on dry land, I can't justify the mooring/storage fees while she sits unused, unloved for a couple of years. Especially in the face of a voracious toddler! Built by Leisure Yachts/Cobramold in 1979, she's in very good condition for her age - no osmosis, hurrah!

, she has 5 berths (comfortably sleeps 2), 5'9" headroom inside, an overall length of 22ft 8ins, beam of 7ft 10ins, draft of 2ft 8ins and displacement of 4050 lbs. The engine is a good honda outboard, and the stove is an alcohol one. She's on a leisure mooring in South Dock - a marina with a great community and easy access onto the Thames.
