The deck mouldings and fittings set this boat apart from the rest, most ribs have modular bolt in seat and console similar to a Brig Falcon or Zodiac Pro 500 for example but the Zodiac Medline has all seating, console and lockers moulded into the deck giving fantastic strength and a vast amount of storage. The deck lockers can be filled with ice for cool drinks all day long. The seat cushions are particularly comfortable and made of dense foam to soften the ride.
This Deluxe model will carry up to 9 adults, instead of a typical rib jockey console seat where only one or two can sit. The sundeck can easily accommodate two adults lying down and is a great extra. It also has a very efficient bilge pump which, when you hose it down, quickly disposes of gallons of water through the transom. The rubbing strake is in perfect condition and the 5 chamber tubes which are in great condition virtually unmarked have no patches or repairs. Reviews and numerous design awards praise their handling, interior design and performance.
They also look fantastic, a real quality roomy boat with a massive amount of storage with stunning lines and great design making this an extremely comfortable rib to compliment any yacht or for the discerning family boat owner. The Garmin 45CV sonar with Uk and Ireland charts is the perfect plotter for this rib. Often 5M ribs come fitted with a 50hp but the fuel injected Yamaha 60hp gives that extra power to carry two families easily at speed and with great fuel economy. When this rib accelerates, unlike other ribs that come up high on the bow and over onto the plane, this Zodiac Medline just rises out of the water horizontally with little bow rise and accelerates away which makes it great for skiing and safe and comfortable with families on board. It’s a top spec package, the engine new is over £9000 and a new Medline with 60 Yamaha EFI and trailer RRP is £30k you can see from the pictures this is absolutely pristine.
The pictures were taken on the 7th July and the boat is as immaculate as it looks, and drives and runs absolutely perfectly. There are no patches or repairs of course and the tubes are immaculate, the hull has no damage and is virtually unmarked, it has never been any where near a beach and is wax polished not antifouled, you will not be disappointed. The engine is perfect and unmarked. Simply put you won’t find a better condition Medline 500 unless you buy new and even if you did you would hardly notice the difference, in fact you are unlikely to find another Yamaha 60EFI Sundeck Medline on the second hand market. This rib is so versatile, it is large enough to carry two families of four along the coast with luggage stowed in large lockers and ideal for watersports.
It’s also the ideal size rib to store as it will fit into a double garage saving on Marina fees or storage costs. There is a huge amount of storage on this boat with a very large deep bow locker, front locker and enormous under seat locker and two lockers below deck. The huge locker under the main seat is large enough to stow water skis, wake boards, sports equipment and cool boxes. The 60hp engine is in beautiful condition it’s the perfect size and it absolutely flies! It has ample power to pull a mono skier with a family on board and has the refinements of electric start power trim and tilt, great when you are arriving at a beach, and all in perfect working order.
The engine is as new. It has a tilt gauge, fuel gauge rev counter speedometer, warning alarms, such as low oil and running temp .All the serial numbers are in place and it is like new under the cowl with low hours.Outboard This is the gem of this package, so reliable it starts first flick, very smooth and so quiet, at speed it’s effortless. Very good on fuel and with plenty of power it’s like new. It was serviced last week and for peace of mind as well as a full service all the power head anodes and transom bracket anodes have been changed which were all in very good condition. It’s just had a new trim/tilt solenoid and the fuel tank and lines have been flushed and replenished with low ethanol fuel.
As well as last week's service, In 2021 it had a full service £500 and the same in 2020 with receipts.
