Orkney 424 Sport Dory

Lovely Orkney 424 sport dory in very good used condition complete with good roadworthy condition galvanized trailer. Ready to go as either a fast fishing boat or comfortable and very stable day boat, will require an outboard of around 25hp along with appropriate cable controls for good performance but is rated to take outboards of up to 50hp. Alternatively a 10hp - 15hp is fine for pottering around the harbour at the 8 knot speed limit. Additional Note: For interested classifieds boarders and in the interest of clarity after a number of questions, please note this is not a new boat, the hull is sound but does have scuffs and scrapes from launching and retrieval. The top edge of the boat has had a few dings to the gelcoat that have been repaired with marine epoxy as per new photos and the transom has had a couple of drill holes filled and made good with marine epoxy from the attachment of previous outboard motors.
