Orkney 520 Day / Angling Boat Fully Equipped

EXCELLENT ORKNEY 520 BOAT PLUS ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT FOR SALE. *****Please note: this item is for collection only following cleared funds transfer. I purchased this boat in 2006 and have used it mainly for day trips on the Broads, with a few sea angling trips from Southwold on the Suffolk coast. Overall, for its age, it has had very little use, with even less lately (two days on the broads in the last three years,) hence the reason for sale.

Engines have always been flushed after use. Viewings are very welcome – please feel free to contact me via classifieds board to arrange. Included are: 2005 Orkney 520 with extras of: Cuddy, Top Screen, 2 X swivel seats, side thwarts (seats,) side rails, Silva 58 compass, Garmin 178C GPS chartplotter / depth-finder /fishfinder linked to a Navman 7200 VHF DSC Radio. Two Fire extinguishers and a battery isolator switch to comply with the Boat Safety Scheme. Dixon Bates easy launch trailer (as supplied new by Orkney Boats) with new jockey wheel, and new winch and strap.

Lighting board. For the peace of mind of the purchaser, I have just had new wheel bearings fitted on the 24th of April. Main Outboard - Mariner 30E two stroke long shaft with 5 (6?) gallon fuel tank. This is the original outboard fitted when the boat was new in 2005; the whole outfit has only had very low use since then, and although last serviced in 2017, it has since done less than 20 hours of service. It started on the first turn of the key last week although the fuel has been 'standing' for over a year.

Flushing 'muff' with hose connector included. Auxiliary Outboard - Mariner 4hp four stroke long shaft with 3.2 gallon fueltank, bought new by me in 2006 when I purchased the boat, and has only been run briefly on occasions to check it out, usually when venturing out to sea (as stated above, I have used the boat mainly for day trips on the Broads.) It has probably done less than 25 hours from new. This was also serviced in 2017. FHD 5Kg Anchor with chain and rope; also a small folding anchor and line. Two Stainless steel bilge keel rails and fixing screws purchased new from Orkney Boats but never fitted.

Small fishing long line if required. Three Fenders. Handbooks for all items and Mariner supplied tool kits for outboards. New set of navigation lights - never fitted. Outboard transport trolley - can be seen in the photographs.

Everything on this outfit is fully functional – the only thing needed (for cosmetic reasons) would be a replacement transport cover for the main outboard propeller. *****Please note: this item is for collection only following cleared funds transfer.
