Orkney Boat

For Sale 13ft Orkney with a brand new roller trailer and 5hp Yamaha outboard engine, oars, light board for trailer, 2kg plough anchor with chain and approx 100m of rope. This is a boat with a difference at some point it was converted into a sailing dinghy and it has had a centre board professionally built into the hull. I've tried to show this in the pictures but whilst the boat is sat on the trailer it can only be seen partly released, this is the reason that l bought the boat originally as it makes it very stable and has enabled me to venture out of the harbour. The engine is a 5hp Yamaha which can be run either by a separate fuel tank (which l dont have) or its own built in fuel tank, forward and reverse gears, its low hours very reliable, economical and pushes the boat along nicely at 6-8 knots. The trailer was bought last year for £900 and has only been in the water 3 times and thoroughly cleaned with fresh water after every use.

Bad Points: The boat paint work is a bit faded as its still original gel coat and has a few age related marks but nothing serious, the oars have seen better days but again nothing serious and there are some old screw holes in the front seat where rigging once sat for sails etc but would be easy to fill if required. Over all its a good solid boat sat on an excellent trailer powered by a reliable engine with no leaks and ready to go. I am only selling as i'm getting a bigger boat.
