ORKNEY COASTLINER 14. An Orkney Coastliner 14 cuddy cabin version fishing/angling boat set up for single handed coastal use. (10 mile radius from home port for insurance purposes.)Dark blue hull (original gel coat) in good condition with only minor chips noted. White cuddy, opening front access to anchor well. New windows fitted 2021.
Sounder and Navigation tablet internally fitted to roof. General inventory consists of original good road trailer, all bearings good, (recently replaced), greased up and ready for use with good tyres and mudguards. Tows well. 1000lb winch and strap. Hand rails down both sides.
On top of roof and safety rail alongside seat. 6 rod holders, 3 fenders, Anchor chain & rope. Horseshoe lifebuoy, mooring ropes. Compass fitted to steering console. Extending boathook (which also supports cockpit cover) SAM cockpit cover 2 seasons old but a bit tatty due to salt and sun!
Overall winter cover, new 2022. Hull was anti-fouled June 2021 and is still in reasonably condition. Engine lower units were painted with non-copper biocidal anti-fouling Feb 2022. Main engine is a Mariner (Yamaha based) 20 HP two-stroke long-shaft Manual and electric start model in very good condition. Stripped and rebuilt with all new gaskets etc in 2020.
On remotes to front seat. Very economical using about 2 gallons only for usual 3-4 hour fishing trip. The propellor has been changed for a plastic one but the original aluminium one (rebushed) is included in the sale.Back-up engine on rise/fall bracket is a Mariner (Yamaha based) 2 HP standard shaft, direct drive, manual start, internal tank model which pushes the boat well for trolling etc. Both engines are fully serviced and ready for use. There is even fuel (E5) in the tanks.
The boat has been modified to fit a rise and fall swivel (and locking) seat instead of the standard thwart. (this will be included in the sale) at the steering position. Also the stern seat has been extended to enclose a large 6 gallon tank as well as a 2 gallon back-up tank and the starting battery. With a lockable cover. An additional (clean) battery is fitted in the seat base charged from the main engine via a diode to feed the electronics.
Electronics consist of a Garmin 65 CV 6.5 " screen echo sounder with clear-vu etc and GPS/maps/chart-plotter. Combo. Mounted in the roof of the cuddy on RAM mounts. Also fitted is a Samsung Galaxy 8" tablet with full Navionics package including full UK fishing charts. This is also mounted in the cuddy roof on RAM mounts and has it's own power supply.
