Boat Type: Pilothouse
I bought this boat last summer, spent quite a lot of money and lots of time bringing up to an excellent specification but am moving up to a larger boat. In the time I’ve owned it, it has proved absolutely brilliant and we’ve caught plenty of fish (although the cod evaded us, just like they did most people this winter down here!).This is a 2004 boat with a 75hp Mercury 4 stroke outboard and 6hp Mercury 4 stroke auxiliary on a lifting bracket. I wanted the outboard version because it is much cheaper to maintain than an inboard and leg but also gives better deck space in my opinion. I have fitted the top of the range Bennett hydraulic trim tabs with auto retract (needed if you dry stack or trail her) and digital position indicators. There is a brand new Raymarine Axiom 9 MFD with the expensive downvision/realview 3d transducer and also an excellent Garmin MFD which gives you two large viewable screens. I have also added a Raymarine Ray70 VHF which also adds AIS capability to your Axiom display.Full set of safety equipment, flares, fire extinguishers etc.
Three 25l fuel tanks. All the necessary bits to hit the water immediately with no work to do. Hull has been professionally polished and anti fouled in the last couple of months.A braked trailer, in excellent condition, is included. Boat has the optional side benches and lots of storage.Cruises steadily at 18-20kts fully loaded and will reach 26kts flat out. Fuel consumption is very reasonable - around 1.25l/NM or 20l/hr at cruising speed fully loaded.Any questions, please ask.
There is probably lots I’ve forgotten. If I wasn’t in the fortunate position of now looking at a 40-45 footer, then I would gladly keep her and have tidied her up with my long term ownership of her in mind.Boat is on the water in Hamble and ready to take fishing. She was originally from Hampshire/Sussex waters but then went to Cornwall for several years where it was hardly used. I get lots of compliments that she looks much younger than she is - a credit to her builders.
