**Orkney Fastliner 16 Fishing Boat package** The Fastliner 16's were incredibly rare models developed from the popular Longliner 16, the Fastliner version delivered a semi displacement hull form, offering all of the sea-keeping and stability benefits of the Longliner, but with the ability to actually plane, and with the correct engine speeds of 15-16kts could be expected. The Fastliner 16 was actually the predecessor to the infamous Strikeliner 16. This example is 100% original, exactly as it left the Orkney factory in Arundel, with its original gelcoat (not painted) hull in time-warp condition. There are obviously a few knocks and scuffs here and there, but generally she's in great shape, it could benefit from a polish and re-antifoul, however we have purposely not done this, preferring to sell her as a genuine example and not a 'tarted up' cover up! The engine is a Evinrude 15hp 2-stroke, quite possibly the original factory supplied engine, this has been run-up today and runs very well, selecting the gears, all working as it should.

Having bee stood for many years, I would always recommend the purchaser has a full service completed. The trailer is a Indespension coaster trailer, it looks like the wheels have been replaced recently, and generally all looks very good. Its much newer than the boat, and is a modern A frame type, with a lighting board included. I have started the auction at £1,500 as to hopefully prevent all of the stupid questions and offers, the winning bidder is asked to collect within 7 days and pay cash on collection, or continue paying storage to the Boatyard if you want to use it/store it on Hayling Island. All in all a really nice Orkney, perfect for inshore fishing or just family fun, really easy to handle, launch and recover, you will not be disappointed with this one.
