ORKNEY STRIKELINER SUZUKI 25HP 4 STROKE OUTBOARD 2006 GALVANISED TRAILER Here we have for auction a lovely clean, tidy example of a well-maintained boat package, really hard to find in this condition. BOAT The boat hull is in original shiny blue gel coat. Never been antifouled and has had no repairs, just the odd small gel coat chip and a few old screw holes that have been filled and gel coated. Other than that, the boat is in lovely original condition and the deck and transom are solid. The boat had been in storage and unused for over 10 years!
When you see the boat, you will be able to appreciate how good a condition it is in. (The pictures really don’t do it justice) Stainless steel keel bands fitted. Boat has a stainless auxiliary outboard bracket fitted. The gunnels are in excellent condition. The port side has a stainless plate and bollards for protection when working the anchor and retrieving via alderney set up from the side of the boat.
There are also 2 x2 rod stainless rod holders that sit and are adjustable in height on the back of the boat, which are perfect when bass fishing. There are also 6x rod storage tubes fitted for storage while underway. The boat has LED navigation lights and LED anchor light fitted. There is a waterproof switch panel with USB ports and 12V socket. New Battery box.
There is also a Ritchie compass fitted. New Teleflex steering and wheel just fitted also. ELECTRONICS: Humminbird colour GPS plotter/fishfinder with base map that accepts chart cards. Humminbird fixed VHF radio. All wired through the switch panel to a battery and a battery isolator key switch is also fitted.
Boat also comes with a fully fitted Sam hoods waterproof tonneau cover. (not pictured) OUTBOARD SUZUKI V TWIN 25HP 4 stroke 2006 electric start. This outboard is an excellent motor and is 100% reliable. It starts & runs exactly as it should. It is the perfect match for the boat with plenty of power and torque, and the boat gets up on the plane and flys along at up to 19 MPH loaded with kit and 2 anglers onboard, it is also happy idling along and is very very good on fuel.
The outboard is immaculate under the hood, having had freshwater use only until just recently being fitted to this boat. The motor has just been fully serviced with new impellor, spark plugs, fuel filter, oil filter, gear oil and engine oil, all grease points lubricated. Comes with 25L plastic fuel tank. The motor is ready for the season. I have videos of the motor running whilst out on the boat this week.
TRAILER The trailer is a galvanised roller bunk trailer in great condition, built professionally and specifically for the strikeliner with lots of keel rollers and 2x roller bunks putting the weight on the keel, which for an Orkney is exactly where it should be on a trailer. The only rust on the trailer is on the very rear roller brackets otherwise it looks spot on. It tows nicely and is a doddle to launch and recover the boat, having the roller bunks makes a big difference. The trailer has just had 2x new tyres fitted. The trailer will tow anywhere without any worries there is no grinding or play in the bearings.
