Regal 1700 Lsr

Regal 1700 LSR 3l GL series OMC engine with VOLVO Penta , Cobra SX leg 1998 Boat , understood to have been brought into the UK in 2002 and that we are the 3rd owner . She had been dry stored and unused for 5 years before we purchased her in 2013 . Since then circa 30-40 hours per year . Estimated total , less than 300 hrs . Trailer replaced in 2014 with a little used 2010 trailer with 2 banks of rollers making launch and recovery a one person operation .

It is braked with sealed bearings , new half lines and handbrake fitted 2018 and is in excellent condition . Unusual for the UK market , 1 ft smaller than the 1800 but only sacrificing a back to back seat yet now the right size for a UK garage. We are a family of boat owner and have always had and know how to look after our boats , this one has been an absolute pleasure to have owned for the last 5 years and although little used, she is frequently serviced regardless of hours . She has not seen the sea for a couple of years but was always flushed on site and powerhosed before being store. The stepped hull is a fantastic design giving stability on turns and in rough water as well as good planning speed once the flatter hull comes into effect .

The Regal is one of the top of the range Bowriders , it is built and fitted to a very high standard , walnut dash , full carpet , quality seating (swivel for pilot and co pilot) . Our boat has been enhanced with several additions such as Garmin 525 sat nav , Cobra VHF radio , Pyle stereo and automatic fire extinguisher with led indicator . The low hour engine has been maintained meticulously and only failed once when the starter motor bolts sheered …professionally extracted and refitted in September 2018 . She starts on the button and is very reliable . There are 2 props included , a 4 blade 19” for water ski use and the conventional 3 blade 19”.

We do have 2 Stainless steel props that may be included for the right price …(19” and 21” 3 blades) NOT AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED Several covers (all in good condition) , bespoke lighting board and tie down straps. This is a used boat and comes with the usual bruises attributed with taking kids out but nothing that detracts from the overall look or use . The reason for sale is that whilst she was in for repair , we reassessed our use and as we are mainly using it on the lake and my son is interested in barefoot we have acquired a boat more suited to his needs .
