Regal Ambassador 245 power boat motor cruiser spares or repair project Here is a fantastic oportunity to purchase my beautiful Regal Ambassador 245 motor cruiser, still in her origianal gel coat.The hull is in exceptionally good condition with original gel coat and no osmosis. I carried out a lot of work on this boat and she is almost complete but I just don't have the time to finish her. She is 27ft overall, which includes the beautiful teak bathing platform.She has had new upholstery throughout, the galley has new sink and cooker, the heads has a new toilet. It even has a shower, although the hot water tank will need a check over. Sea Hawk comes with 2 x 3ltr 140hp Mercuiser engines and 2 x Alpha 1 legs.
Both drive legs have been professionally rebuilt.According to the previous owner its capable of 40 knots. She has a good cabin layout, with a large v berth in the saloon and a large secluded double berth under the cockpit. She has a good sized cockpit and comes complete with 2 davits to put your dinghy on. Things that need to be done: both engines turn over by hand. One engine needs a thermostat housing, one engine needs to be dropped back in and the gimble housing bolted back on.
The boat then needs re-commissioning. I had both engines running when I purchased her and they ran well. One engine has been replaced at some point by the previous owner and is in exceptionally good condition. Some of the brackets on the guard rail will need replacing (available from chandlery) The helmsman seat is not shown in the photos but is included. I have lots of spares which will be listed seperately when I have time to check through them.
The commercial trailer that the boat is presently on is not included in the sale but will be listed once the boat is sold. Please check photos carefully but this is a really worthwhile project and will make a really fun family boat when completed.
