Regal Sportsboat 206SC

Regal 206SC 1993 Sports Cuddy I am offering for Sale my Regal Sportsboat 206SC. I purchased this boat back in 2015 to restore it and apply some modern touches to it so that I could use it both inland and offshore. Since I purchased the Regal I had a full overall Canvas cover fitted that allows you to either have half a canopy, full canopy or bimini top up. This is essential for the UK climate. The Regal also has a fitted bespoke tonneau cover.

The trailer was refurbished prior to me collecting the boat with new brakes and 4 new wheels. The boat has interior lights and full instrumentation. The cabin has cushions and can sleep 2 for overnight stays. There is an old fashioned stereo along with a walk through windscreen. At the rear there is navigation lights and a transom fitted outboard bracket.

The regal is fitted with a rear swim deck shower and a hull water tank. (these are not connected). I purchased the boat as I felt it was very well built compared to modern light fibreglass boats. Also because it is the only Cuddy Cabin boat I`ve seen that does`t look unattractive with its Cuddy. It blends in very sleekly.

I had winterised it last year but for some apparent reason water had leaked into the engine and it has froze. The engine has been stripped and is ready for some serious work or a replacement sought. The outdrive was fine when working a year ago. I could start again with the refurbishment and source a new engine but to be quite honest I`ve fallen out of love for this project as still feel quite sick that the engine has jammed. I had spent nearly over a thousand pounds in 2015 getting the engine perfect.

If I get the price I am looking for I will throw in a very expensive head unit, 6 top quality Sony marine speakers, 2 amplifiers and a sub unit. These were to be fitted last year. Please viewing would be better but with the engine a non runner you can understand the boat will be sold as seen. The Hull condition is fantastic for the age of the boat and is fully watertight. The values I would have put on the boat were if the engine was tip top and the stereo was fitted with the expensive covers in the Summer would be circa 5000.
