For sale- 1998 rinker captiva 232 cuddy cabin 5.8L v8 fitted with 357 mercruiser remanufactured engine and bravo 3 dual prop stern drive I purchased this boat last year for upwards of £19,500 and have since added lots of new items to the boat to update it and make it more reliable than it already is, only problem I ever had with this boat was it needed a new water pump (consumable part) and since I’ve owned it the boat has ran smoothly and starts every time with no issues , very fast boat with the comfort of being able to seat up to 10 people and sleep 2 in the cuddy cabin the parts I have fitted are a new updated Bluetooth jvc radio aswel as kenwood speakers , led lighting , 12v to 240v 3000w inverter which allows the possibility of plugging in a television or any other kind of standard electrical item , a new fuel water separation filter , an extra battery for the inverter so it does not drain the 2 batteries used to start the boat itself and a new ventilation fan for engine bay to vent fuel Vapours out , it comes with 2 Bimini tops ( one large one smaller ) also comes with a snap on cover The list of extra new parts that can be sold with the boat are : bellows kit Fuel water seperation filter Gimbal bearing Bearing puller Replacement Anode kitMarine grade paint for stern drive to keep corrosion away and protect the aluminium surface A new removable table Radar reflector Marine grade sealant for bellows kit Replacement gaskets and seals for stern drive Eva foam teak wood-look flooring New led light up Ritchie marine brand compass very good quality item The upholstery on this boat is in incredible condition for its age almost like new, the hull of the boat is in perfect condition with a recent re coat of marine anti fouling paint done by previous owner the only fault with this boat is one of the propellers has a small chip in it but does not effect the performance in any way , a common problem with the bravo three stern drive is the gimbal ring will wear and cause slack in the stearing and cause steering response to lack but this boat doesn’t have any of that what so ever This boat is going for an amazingly cheap £14,500 as it is worth upwards of £19,000 and with the added parts will bring the value up more anyone who buys this boat won’t regret it ,Perfect for summer , thank you for taking the time to read
