I have decided to sell my Speedboat, due to wanting to upgrade to a newer cabin boat next year. This is a 1998 Rinker 182 Bowrider, can seat up to 6 adults. (2 seats at front, and 4 in the middle) although the most we have ever carried is 2 adults. This is a powerful 135bhp 3.0L Petrol Mercruiser engine, with gives great output and great fuel economy. It has a Radio/CD player with USB and two front speakers, comes with two keys.
Plus all supporting paperwork. It has just had the following work completed at £260 - Full engine service, Cap, Rotor, Leads and stripped down the Carb, and replaced with new gaskets. Plus the following maintenance in past years:Replaced both windscreen supports 2016 Re-attached walk-through window 2016Antifouling 2 coats March 2017Sterndrive antifouling March 2017Oxalic acid treatment to hull March 2017New fuel filter May 2017New alternator belt June 2016New Starter motor June 2016Gel coat polish March 2017New red covers June 2016Engine serviced May 2016New radio with USB/auxillary input for iPhone/Android phonesOil change/gear lube change 2016Added missing O-ring seal on fuel cap May 2017 There are some minor serviceable issue's that will need to be done over the next 12 months, and only list these to help and advise it's new owner. However please note the boat is fully useable on the water now. Could do with a Battery replacement (Currently holds but not for long periods) - You can buy a new one for £70Leg Service and replacement anodes and antifoul paint on leg and propeller - £70 for anodes, £60 antifoulPolish and Antifoul of hull - £250 although antifoul was done only a year ago, so probably just the red trim needs a T-CUT and re-buff.
Trim and Knots gauges not working - but can be repaired by putting in new senders All of the above work has been quoted for by my local marine service agent with parts and labour = £700 If the boat achieves the buy it now, then I will include: 1 x Anchor & Line, Berthing Lines and 4 x large Buoy Fenders You are welcome to view the boat before auction ends which I would always advise anyway where possible, which can be arranged with me during boat yards opening hours Mon - Fri, otherwise only bid to buy as described as all sales are final and legally binding. Boat is currently stored on dry land, and it does not have a trailer but there are local agents that I can recommend who can transport throughout the UK at the buyers own cost. £250 deposit within 24 hours of auction end, and collection within 5 days of auction end, and payment can be made by Paypal but 3.5% fee's will need to be added. This is a good quality boat that has been well looked after, at a fair price with plenty of fun ahead. Please note: It was stored in the local Harbour throughout the Winter, hence the need to have the full service now where it came onto dry land in the boat yard a month ago, but it has not yet been out this season, so it will need a deep clean inside the boat, such as carpet clean, covers steam cleaned and general wipe over of the seats.
The outside has already been fully power washed down. This was however fully valeted and waxed at the start of last season and I am aiming to get this done before the auction ends, so it's in a presentable condition for the new owner. Photo's were taken July 2017, when I took delivery, and boat was originally berthed at Swansea Marina. The final photo is the boat berthed at Burry Port Harbour. Thank you and any further questions, then please feel free to ask.
