Rinker 232 Captiva Cuddy 23ft Power Boat

Year 2000 Rinker 232 Captiva Cuddy for sale, home berth is with MDL at Hythe Marina, near Southampton. She has recently (1st March) just been put back on berth ready to go for the season. Navy Blue and white with later model side decals, and 23 feet approx length. We have owned 'Mustang on' for nearly 2 years, she was our first boat and we have had a lot of good times, but now it is time for an upgrade. She would be ideal for the first time boat buyer who wants to try boating without spending a fortune.

Mercruiser 5.0 V8 petrol, coupled to an Alpha one Gen 2 outdrive, regular servicing while in my ownership, engine and drive rebuilt in 2013 at considerable cost, paperwork available to verify maintenance. New under floor stainless fuel tank fitted around May 2018, bilge pump, bilge blower, and various service items recently replaced in last 12 months, has just had new alternator and belt and oil change in November 2018. Trim/Tilt pump was refurbished and re-mounted on new genuine bracket winter of 2017/2018. New engine bay automatic and cabin fire extinguishers fitted around August 2017. New standard prop fitted last winter.

New cockpit carpets April 2018, retrimmed interior soft furnishing July 2017. Has Raymarine dragonfly GPS 5 pro and integrated fish finder fitted new in 2017 with Navionics maps installed. Also has stereo, interior and deck area lights. Bimini cover installed winter 2017/2018, and useful in mid summer heat. Hull and paintwork is in good condition, some small areas of gelcoat crazing around a couple of fittings due to age, Antifoul is only around 8 months old and still in great condition and very effective.

A couple of small scratches around side of hull and rub strips, as usual with age and usage, I would describe the condition as cosmetically nice and mechanically sound, but cosmetics are not perfect as it is nearly 19 years old. Cabin soft furnishings were redone 2017, There is a centre filling section that converts the cabin to a full bed. Before it was put back on berth at the start of April she was treated to new Drive anodes and Drive Antifoul and the hull was given a polish. I have pictures of the hull and drive before she was put back in water for prospective buyers, she can be lifted out for inspection but I will need a weeks notice and the buyer pays for the lift approx. 100GBP (which will be refunded if purchased) Has been reliable and fun.
