Seadoo Gti 1998

Seadoo GTI 1998 for sale, had the engine rebuilt with new pistons, gaskets, bearings etc the winter before last by a friend of mine who is a navy marine engineer. Worked perfectly when I took it out twice last summer but when I got chance to take it out this summer I just couldn't get it running. It'll start perfectly when primed (after market primer fitted) but dies out once the fuel is expended. Compressions are even at 140psi on both cylinders on my compression tester but its an amateur bit of kit so I wouldn't trust it 100% but they are even. Looking on the Seadoo forum it could be a number of issues like needing new fuel hoses(prone to break down if they're silver coloured) or a faulty air check valve.

I'm too busy with work to sort it out and I don't have an indoor space to do soso hence the price.Trailer is in good condition with new bearings at the time of rebuild. Can tow to meet you at the ferry.
