Seadoo Utopia 205 Bowrider Speed Boat. For upto 8 People. Year built - 2004With 240Hp Mercury M2 (2nd generation) V6 EFi two stroke engine with Jet Drive.Top Speed of c.45mph This boat is a perfect family starter boat and has given us many happy family holidays and days out over the years. It has incredible handling, it can rotate on it self making docking easy and can stop quickly. With a jet drive it is perfect for watersports as there is no sharp propeller to worry about when your kids or friends are in the water.It is a great fun open decked boat that has absolutely no problem towing inflatables, knee boarders or water skiers and has seating for 8 people. The captains seat and the double crew / spotters seat rotate to allow a better view of the person you are towing or to be more sociable with the rear bench seat passengers.There is a table that can be installed and It has a ski pole that can be fitted in minutes providing extra lift when skiing etc.There is a pull down ladder to make getting out of the water onto the rear deck easy and there is an Anchor locker with Anchor at the bow of the boat.Glove box also houses a 12V cigarette lighter style socket which we use to plug in an air pump to blow up the inflatables. The rear bench and front bow seats are removable exposing loads of storage for skis, fenders, ropes etc. And the engine compartment has even more storage both sides for larger items for example inflatables, life jackets or cool boxes.The engine compartment also hides a fold out Bimini top to provide shade from the sun. A replacement Sony marine CD Player with Ipod connection powers 4 x Infinity marine speakers with matching blue cones and gives plenty of sound if you want to listen to your music.I replaced the side decals as the original ones were a bit tatty. Blue deck lights accentuate the blue vinyl upholstery. The Mercury M2 EFi V6 Engine is the second generation and has a large 2 stroke oil tank that injects the oil into the fuel mix. I bought a job lot of Mercury 2 Stroke oil from a marine suppliers and have a couple of containers that will go with the sale. There is enough Oil for 2-3 years use at least.Spare parts for the engine can be bought from any Mercruiser agent and servicing can be done by any able person involving spark plugs, gear box oils, filters and anodes.Seadoo spare parts can be bought from distributors like Great Lakes Skipper.It has had SX Smart trim tabs installed and these really smooth out the ride over waves and choppy water and keep the bow down allowing it to get on plane almost instantly. I have both Boat and engine manuals that are included in the sale. The boat is currently on a 2,400kg twin axle braked Extreme Roller Trailer bought New in 2017 and alone is worth over £3,000. Being fairly new it is fully road legal and CE marked allowing towing on the UK and European Roads. - This was an upgrade on the trailer that the boat came with.Being from the USA it was not road legal and was only any use as a launching trailer. Being that the boat weight is only around 1,000 kgs' it tows easily and is very stable behind your vehicle. Launching and recovery is simple with the roller bed. All tyres and brakes are in excellent condition with the spare having not been used. Extreme 2,400kg twin axle braked trailer - bought new in 2017 can be seen on the main photo.The boat is currently being unused on its trailer in my garage and viewing can be arranged at our home in South Croydon. As can be seen in the 3rd picture.
