Sea Ray 170 Power Boat

For sale is my Sea Ray 170 power boat, I have owned this boat for 5 years now and it has been fantastic, I have plenty of great memories with it. This is a perfect first boat for anyone or if you're looking to downsize this could be the boat for you. I'll start by saying the hull and floor are sound, no rot or osmosis - everything is solid as it should be. The gel coat has imperfections throughout the hull and topside of the boat, crazing, small cracks and chips, however the boat still presents very well and shines beautifully! All the blemishes are to be expected of a 32 year old boat.
Mechanically I have been through everything, the engine had a full rebuild 2 years ago as we discovered water in the cylinders due to cracked cylinder heads. The engine had two reconditioned heads and a fully rebuilt short-block with new pistons, rings, bearings, crank re-ground + polished and gaskets throughout. Along with this the carb was cleaned and rebuilt, new exhaust manifolds and risers were fitted and the ignition system overhauled. Recently I have fitted new rocker covers. Reliability is key on the water and I wouldn't sell anything if I wasn't 100% happy with it - starts up very quickly whether hot or cold as it should.
The sterndrive is in good condition, the bellows were also done at the same time the engine was out along with gimbal bearing. Impeller has recently been changed in the leg too. Fitted is a 4 blade stainless prop which is fantastic for water sports and quick pulling for skiiers and wakeboarders etc. The boat comes with a full set of custom made covers including winter cover as pictured, a very clean tonneau cover that has only been used a couple of times and a bimini top for some shade on hot summer days. Last year I overhauled the trailer, it had new tyres, wheel bearings, jockey wheel and all brake components inspected and replaced.
Brakes work perfectly and I fitted a freshwater flushing point at the front of the trailer to keep them in good condition. Trailer has LED lights on the rear so no need to use lightboards, I am fitting a new rear fog and number plate lamp this week so will be ready to go. The interior of the boat is in average condition, drivers seat has a rip and there are plenty of stains and marks on the vinyl throughout. The left hand side panel has been stapled poorly before I got the boat. Overall it's presentable and perfectly useable and I have left it like this because we didn't want something we were scared of using etc with people coming in and out of the boat with water toys.
All gauges work as they should, blower, bilge and nav light work properly too. Bilge has an automatic override on a float switch for safety. The boat has been re-carpeted just before I got it, which is still looking really nice. The reason for sale is I am going into motorsport and haven't got the time this year to be using it boat like it deserves! Sea trials are possible if you're a serious buyer and a deposit is paid, viewings are welcome.
