Sea Ray 175 Bow Rider With 3 Litre Mercruiser ...engine Turns By Hand

VIEWINGS TO BE ARRANGED IF YOU ARE PREPARED TO PAY THE ASKING PRICE UPDATE 22/03/2012 The engine turns freely by hand it is unlikely water got into the engine ,the starter motor clicks when I turn the key ,it could be a lose connection ,a poor battery or a stuck solenoid....it is my belief the engine will run again ....more engine photos added to the webalbum ...please take a look Sea Ray 175 Bow Rider built 1998 with a 3.0 litre Mercruiser Engine. Barracuda XI has been Registered on the Thames since 2007 ,she then changed hands to the present owner in 2013 who has also kept it on the thames and used it regularly up until last year .The engine was last serviced in 2016 ,the speed limit on the thames is 5 MPH,so she has pretty much been on tick over for the last 13 years. In 2020 rain water came in through a rip in the old cover ,a defective bilge pump meant water sat unnoticed in the boat it was just above the carpet meaning a third of the engine was underwater ,the engine has not run since this happened .She is filthy as you can see ,but all the upholstery is still in good order ,unlike the carpet which has moss growing on it .Most of the electrics seem to work which is good . The old cover which has fallen apart has been kept which will aid getting a replacement made .The hull is dirty but appears in good order ,it has been in no collisions or incidents of any sort . This is a great project boat well worth restoring everything appears in good order ,I dont think the cushions will have to be replaced either .

There is also a trailer for the boat ,this is presently getting an overhaul photos and details added later This project would ideally suit a mechanic .
