Sea Ray 17ft 6ins Bowrider

Here we have my Sea-ray bowrider in good condition. The boat is 17ft 6in in length and 5ft in the beam. She can take up to 5 adults in comfort and will cruise at 22 mph with ease. This is achievable with the help of a v6 4.3 Mercruiser inboard petrol engine that was rebuilt by the previous owner. I think it is fair to say the boat is amazingly fast up to a about 38/40 mph (downhill with a following wind) in calm water.Surprisingly, she is quite good on fuel at less than one gallon an hour at her cruising speed.A good-looking vessel with a full-length custom-made waterproof cover. A Bimini cover over the seating area, to keep the sun off the passengers on hot sunny days. There is a large full width sun lounger towards the stern and beyond that there is a swim platform to allow the passengers to enter the water via a short folding ladder to cool off on those hot sunny days.The boat is complete with 4 life vests, Garmin navigation device, anchor and buoy, 2 ship to shore hand held two-way radio's with chargers, emergency paddle, never used, four fenders, bow fender, built in radio with mp3 player. There is a fire extinguisher system in the engine compartment which is automatically triggered in the event of fire. Several ropes are supplied with the boat.She sits on her own trailer and is ready to goThe trailer is fitted with Flotem Poles which is a great aid in setting the boat up to mount the trailer square on. With a little practice it is possible to drive the boat up out of the water and onto the trailer without having to use the winch. The trailer has new axle, sealed bearings, brake shoes and front hitch spring. It has been fitted with a new winch and cable and comes with all straps and a turnbuckle to hold the boat safely on to the trailer. The boat and trailer follow very nicely and can be towed with any reasonably sized vehicle.I am loathed to sell the boat but, my health is starting to deteriorate, and I am no longer able to use and operate the boat safely. The boat is stored onshore out of the element’s and undercover in a secure compound on my own property.
