Searay 220 Sundancer Sports Cruiser

Searay 220 Sundancer Sports Cruiser (1989) Owing to recent health issues I am reluctantly offering for sale my Searay Sundancer Sports Cruiser.A good-looking ideal family cruiser suitable for lakes, rivers and canals as it has had the expensive to run 5.7 ltre engine removed and a pod with a 50hp Suzuki efi outboard fitted. This was done professionally approx nine years ago at a cost of £9,000 with all bills to prove and all bills since she was built. The old engine bay is now a very large storage area. The canopy was replaced last year at a cost of £4,000. Separate double bedroom aft and the dining table converts to another double.
Heads with a brand new portable toilet, and a shower which I have never used as there is no shore power where she is moored so you would need to check out its useability, also a wash hand basin. Opposite the heads is a sink, double burner gas stove with grill with cupboards below with good standing headroom. Two brand new leisure batteries just fitted serviced by a 100w solar panel fitted on the for deck, (photo shows 2 small solar panel from before the new solar panel was fitted). And new bilge pumps. The outboard which has power lift, tilt and trim has its own starter battery charged by the outboard.
The canopy has full standing headroom of over 6ft and the steering position has a double bench seat called an outback seat as it can be pivoted backwards to face the rear of the boat and along with the bench seat along the transom with the dinning table brought up from below will seat six. The canopy area can sleep at least four on those warm summer nights. There is a two step boarding ladder that hooks over either side. There is a twin axle unbraked trailer for launch and haul out. During the season she is moored on a deep water mooring at Kielder Yacht Club Northumberland where she can be kept by joining the club.
The fees are very reasonable and you can find out more about the club online at Kielder Yacht Club. She needs a really good end of season clean but still very tidy. She is now on the hard just outside of the clubhouse with power and water for a pressure washer so with a week-end spent on her she would be ready for the new season but perfectly useable as is. I may be going to the boat in a fortnight or and so and will be taking interior photos then. Viewing welcome by appointment as I live about an hour away and she has now been hauled out for the winter.
