These boats are renown for their seaworthiness and stability, the hull will take an outboard of up to around 90hp and they are often used as recreational sea fishing boats. She is moored on the Chesterfield Canal in Nottinghamshire in the lovely Stockwith Basin, this mooring cannot be transferred with the boat but the buyer would be able to contact the Canals and River Trust to apply for the mooring if required. She is fitted with a Honda 10hp electric-start 4-stroke outboard engine which has just been fully serviced and overhauled professionally in the last 2 months at a cost of just under £500 with any required parts being fitted including a new impeller for the cooling system.This engine starts first touch and is incredibly economical and very quiet - on the canal it is only ticking-over but there is ample power to cruise on rivers such as the River Trent etc.
