Selling My Shetland Sheltie, 18ft boat with Engine and trailer. If you know these boats then you know what you are looking at, she is old but solid. These boats were made properly, very thick fiberglass hull so very robust boats. In the last year the boat has had;New floor with professional fiberglass finish floor and internal paint job.New perspex windows and blue tint,New metal reinforced stainless steel plate to transom.New bilge pump, Second hand VHF Radio,New control fused panel, New horn.New BOSH battery last year, New depth finder and transponder.New steering cables and Helm. The trailer has new bearings, new wheels and tyres last year,I had the trailer professionally extended by a fabricator to make it better for towing / launching etc.The Engine is a 2001 Yamaha 80hp 2 stroke Autolube.Starts runs and drives great,Electric trim up and down on control and engine.Had a full service last years complete with carbs off, cleaned and balanced etc.New plugs, fuel pump gear oil.The gear casing is a different color and has had a small repair on it, "before me" my mechanic says its perfectly fine and has certainly caused me no problems at all.The engine is fast and gets the boast on the plane no problem, circa 45-MPHThe autolube works fine, Hooked up to a 20 liter fuel tank onboard. The paint job on the boat is not perfect, it was hand painted with rubberized boat paint last year, done properly with primers and several top coats, but on close inspection you can see some spider legs in the top coat. Another lick of paint and this would be perfect if thats what you want, it doesn't bother me though. On the whole this is a perfect fast fishing boat with loads of deck space, the people before me used it for scuba diving for 5 people and all the gear.! Or you could add some additional seats and have it as a cruiser, / speedboat.I also have a 2.5 suzuki outboard, 4 stroke reserve engine, this can be sold separate if needed, im looking around £250 for it. I dont want to run an auction in case of time waster, so im setting the price at what i think its worth, but im happy to receive offers.
