Rare Shetland Signature 1750SS Sports Boat Project

Extremely rare opportunity to acquire this Australian Haines built Shetland 1750SS sports boat. Length 17ft 6ins Beam 6ft 9ins Trailer width 8ft 3ins approximately No engine. The trailer is really only suitable for moving around a boat yard although it has a new axle and wheels. Externally the boat is in terific condition. All original gel coat and the exterior is 99.5% perfect.
It has a large lift up panel in the foredeck. It has storage compartments under the foredeck which gives access to the front bow locker. There is a hinge access flap to the outboard well/platform. The back to back seats pull out to make bench seats/beds. Some of the stitching needs attention.
There is no steering system connected. It needs a replacement centre wooden floor panel, some recarpeting and the internal trimming round the cockpit sides.It went down briefly due to heavy rainwater intake. It originally had a 200hp plus outboard fitted.The centre panel for the widscreen is missing but this is a flat section and could easily be replaced. When finished this could be a real head turned and quite unique. Ideally should be collected on a large flatbed trailer.
