Shetland 4+2 Cruiser

For sale is my Shetland 4+2 cabin cruiser, I have owned this for 4 years and in that time I have spent a lot of money on it. In my ownership it has had a new canopy, nearly £1000, a new Tohatsu 9.8 four stroke engine which has manual and remote start, a new water tank, new ventilation fans-lights, electrical hook up, inside refurbished, new black out curtains, radio fitted, windows resealed, BSS until 2024, river licence till Jan 2023, new steering wheel, fish finder, new switch panel and many other items. It has a small two ring cooker and grill and pumped cold water to the sink. The boat has two berths at the front and another two in the middle when the table is dropped, the boat is very comfortably and dry. There is a separate toilet compartment.
It has also had new fenders, ropes etc.I am selling the boat as a project because I am not able to get to the boat as much and with it being laid up a lot during the pandemic, I have had trouble running it, the engine was difficult to start and did not run properly, so I have carried out a lot of fault finding and believe I may have sorted the issue, I now do not have time to use the boat due to house move and old age. The engine issues seemed to be due to fuel issues, I found the carburettor was blocked due to the fuel degrading having sat for months, I purchased a brand new carburettor at over £200 and serviced the old one, I bought a new coil set which was another £60, which I have not needed to fit and comes with the boat as does the original carb. I have carried out a compression test and that was bang on. The last time I used the boat it started and ran fine, but there is no guarantee or warranty it is up to you to decide. The engine cost over £2000 three years ago and has done very little hours since fitted, due to covid and issues with a lock on the Ripon canal restricting travel.The boat is located at Ripon, there is a slipway not far away.
