Shetland 498 Boat With 25hp Yamaha

Bought this boat a couple of years ago partly for a hobby/project. Just needed some TLC and reluctantly due to personal circumstances, I need to move it on. Its not the prettiest but it is a genuine original boat, in need of a few more bits of maintenance wor and a perfectly sound family boat which we have had lots of fun days out on the river near York. Only known issue is the roof hatch canopy was missing when i bought the boat and i have made a cover which hasn't really worked and needs a better solution. Boat/Cabin fitted with: Teleflex steering including new steering wheel hubNew speedo but needs pitot and tubing Fixtures and cushions included as in photosBilge pumpSix new fenders Lock gate keyAnchorFire extinguisher Oars Life jackets Trailer Unbraked and I have fitted new mud guards.

No noises from wheel bearings no significant rust, winch fine, all perfectly serviceable...spare wheel included. Engine Purchased separately to the boat. Last had a major dealer service in 2015 however i have serviced and winterized ever since. Its electric start, auto oil mixture and is an excellent runner, pumps lots of water and goes into both gears no problems. Yamaha control box and remote cables included.

Only known issue is the tilt leg to raise the engine for travelling has broken. I usually put a piece of wood between the engine and transom to do the job. I was going to line the cabin with a grey soft lining material and i will throw this is if you wish to use it. The cabin was fitted with small box like cupboards which i removed and planned to rebuild. I still have the old pieces to give a template to rebuild storage cabinets.
