Shetland 535 Boat Cruiser 2 Berth Fishing

Good solid boat recently anti-fouled only last week, so all ready to go in the water. She has a few scuffs and scrapes but to be expected for a boat of this age. We have used her in a deep water mooring in Exmouth for 2 years and then in a local harbourside mooring for the last 2 years. Originally bought as a project boat 4 years ago, we have spent a lot of time and money on her and she is a good sound boat with reliable engine. Genuine reason for sale - we would like to get a bigger boat. For sale shetland 535,18ft long, year produced was 1973.THE BOAT EXTERIOR GRP gull wing hull just been antifouled, The rest of the exterior is in the original gel coat and has the usual cleats, front Ballard, pulpit rail, hand rail on the roof, nav lights and radio arial. The bump rail that runs around the middle has some damage to it on the starboard bow, I bought the boat like this and never got round to replacing it, and does not affect the boat in any way. There is a tonneau cover for the rear of the boat and keeps the rear water tight when not in use. THE INTERIOR/CABINThe interior has been painted white but is a blank canvas and is ready for the new buyer to make it their own.

Within the cabin is the ship to shore radio, all the control switches such as interior light, power for the nav lights etc.... along with the main cut off switch, there is also a starter battery for the engine and a Leisure battery powering everything else these are charged when the engine is running and when it isn't then there is a solar panel to trickle charge the battery. Also there is a fire extinguisher in the cabin.REAR DECK. The rear deck has blue leather seating for 3 people, the seat it self lefts up for ample storage. The fuel can sits nicely under the seat and is out of the way. The floor is marine ply with a wood effect flooring over the top, under the flooring is the bilge pump.

All the steering controls are on the port side of the boat and all in good working order. Also a fish finder and depth gage can be found by the steering wheel. There is also a fire extinguisher.THE ENGINE. The engine is a late 90s 2 stroke petrol engine, electric start, it has been regularly serviced and has had a reconditioned gearbox last year, the engine is a great engine and has never let me down.TRAILER. The boat comes with its own trailer, this is a breakneck trailer which is easy to launch and retrieve, there are no brake on this trailer and comes with 2 almost new tyres( very little use).

The trailer has had a lot of work done to it in the way of welding and is a good solid trailer and nice to tow. A brand new winch has been fitted in the last couple of weeks. This shetland will come with lots of bits and pieces like a bow fender, 4/6 side fenders, anchor and chain, and the list goes on. She will also come with a boat safety certificate until 2018, meaning she has passed any test and is safe to use on any British water way. We have owned this boat for 4 years the first 2 years she was on a deep water mooring in exmouth and took 20 miles off shore to do some fishing.

Then the last 2 years she has been in the local harbour and has given us some great times on the summer evenings cruising around. Engine can be seen running . I think I have told everything I know about the boat but if I have forgotten anything I will add it to the listing as I remember. I have advertised this boat elsewhere.
