Shetland 535 Fishing Boat 75hp Mercury Galvanised Trailer Plus Extras

SHETLAND 535Hello and welcome to my auction.You are looking and bidding on a 1980's Shetland 535 named dancing dolphin in Japanese. This came to me in the usual fashion that you find old boats ,and painted in the usual fashion of I don't know what i'm doing or I still have some dulux left after painting the front room. Anyway the following I have done, which is to strip the boat back to a hull and after many coats of different colors and much sanding we got back to the original peach gel coat ,and after a sealent and a good quality etching primer was sprayed and as you can see in picture 12 it was taking shape. Also decided to remove all the old antifoul at same time ect ect. 2 days of wetting and drying and correcting any inperfections was color choice ,so I went for a Audi r6 white pearl that is not too white and has a hint of blue and I think suits the boat well,followed by 2 coats of clear coat for durability.I also repainted the hull in fresh anti foul rated to 28 knotts .

Glass I ditched the lot ,I hate Perspex and I have no idea why people use it, it cracks smashes,scratches ,goes yellow,any way I replaced all windows with 4mm Polycarbonate clear including spray shield ,the windows are uv resistant and guaranteed for 15 years,bullet proof/shatter proof and to a degree fire proof. Again the electrics were interesting to say the least,ive rewired all the electrics added a isolater .and fuses where needed.The boat is equipped with Navigation side lights ; WorkingStern light ; WorkingMasterhead light ; WorkingAll round white light ; Working12v Cabin light ; Working12v Led deck lights x 8 ; Working12v Pioneer cd player ; WorkingManual bilge pump ; Working12v bilge pump ; working boat also has fishfinder and gps ,all fitted included turret and transducer but not working,i will try and investigate this as may be simple. MERCURY 75HPThe engine is a75hp oil injected 4 cylinder commercial 2 stroke with electric start/power choke/power tilt and trim and is fully serviced with new plugs/new gearbox oil/2 stroke oil replenished and pumps water like a power shower.Fully checked over and all grease points redone. TRAILERThe trailer is a fully Hallmarked Bramber roller coaster trailer that marry's this boat very well and is a joy to tow,sadly brakes have been disconnected due to the usual but with a little effort could be recommissioned ,I have inspected checked and repacked the bearings and are all ok,trailer is solid like the day it was made,indespenion units also good and I have replaced the old jockey wheel with new and replaced the winch with a new one.
