Shetland 570 Fishing Cruiser Cabin Boat With 40hp 4 Stroke Outboard & Trailer

Up for auction a Shetland 570 boat complete package and ready for the water. Shetland boats are very well respected for good design & sturdy build quality and work well in open sea or river cruising. The 570 in its day was used for offshore power boat racing so that gives you an idea of its abilities. This boat is in its original gel coat which polishes up a treat. The bottom has been given a fresh coat of antifoul.

The steering and the windscreen were replaced in 2017. The cabin cushions have been replaced this year. The boat also benefits from a Lewmar electric winch which hauls the anchor for you a very handy tool and much safer than hanging over the front of the boat trying to pull the anchor up.The engine is a year 2000 mercury 40hp 4 stroke it starts very easily and runs great pumping loads of water. Thanks to it being a 4stroke it is very economical and quiet when running. The engine has been serviced this year including gear oil, engine oil and filter, carb clean etc so is ready to go.The boat comes complete with a single axle galvanised braked SBS trailer.

The trailer had a brand new galvanised axle and new brake cables fitted 2017. The brakes work as they should. This trailer could take a much bigger boat if needed. It is also fitted with bearing savers which are a good addition.The boat comes with a mooring cover and a huge bucket or rope for the anchor winch.This is a ready for water package just add fuel and go.The boat is currently stored on Hayling Island and will need to be collected within 7 days of the auction end.
