Shetland 610 River Cruiser (Lady May)

Shetland boat for saleWe have had Lady May for 5 seasons and have spent some delightful times cruising up and down the River Ouse.The boat will sleep 4, albeit 2 adults and 2 children make for a more comfortable fit.It has a cupboard for a portable toilet.The bespoke canopy was made by a reputable specialist 3 years ago and can easily be used in place, partially covered or completely open.Recent works include:Regularly serviced engineAntifouled in 2017/2018New canopy supplies and fittedSide windows and seals replaced (Not shown in pic) Front window screens replacedLeisure battery added 2018New oak grab rails (to be fitted)Whilst the boat is fully serviceable the following work would add comfort and value to this boat:Internal refit such as head liner and re-upholstery.Reason for sale: for the last two years we have been spending all of our time and resources working on our holiday home in BulgariaMooring:Lady May is currently moored at Eynesbury Manor private mooring (2018 monthly cost £75 per month inclusive of own jetty, unlimited electricity, water, security entering and leaving the mooring). This mooring is a very secure and delightful place to moor the boat. The jetty is floating and rises and falls to suit the river flow. It is situated 500 yards from Tesco’s superstore making it an ideal place to stock up before cruising on the Ouse. It has its own water tap and electricity supply making it ideal to clean the boat, carry out minor repairs etc.Collection/delivery:Should the new owner not wish to keep Lady May on the current mooring then collection/transport is at the buyers cost.
We are able to recommend a reliable local boat engineer who is familiar with Lady May who transported it from its last moorings in Canvey Island and has carried out much of the works. *Westie not included!
