For Sale – Shetland Black Prince 23ft cabin cruiser - £9,950 We are selling a rare Shetland Black Prince 1982 Cabin Cruiser, suitable for both inland and coastal cruising. The boat has a valid Boat Safety Certificate (BSS) until August 2022. The boat is 23ft long with an 8 ft beam and 2’9” draft. The Black Prince is the strongest, most well laid up GRP boat that Shetland ever made and is tough as old boots. It’s believed that Shetland stopped making the model as they couldn’t afford the amount of GRP that was put into the hulls.The boat is ivory coloured original GRP with power steering and polished hull which is in very good condition for its age. Antifouled in blue, 2019. Cream upholstery in the cockpit with blue back rest cushions. Carpeted in artic blue marine lining carpet throughout. Cream ceiling lining in the cabin and the heads.Navy blue lined curtains. The cabin is insulated to just below the water line with Armaflex. This is a waterproof, rot proof closed cell foam which has heat and sound insulating properties. Double V berth forward. Table in the cabin coverts to a double bed.Galley has sink with manually pumped cold water and gas double burner which has been disconnected and no longer in use. 12v Waeco Coolmatic Fridge under navigator seat in cockpit. Head compartment to starboard has Porta Potti. All plumbing in place for sea toilet if needed.
