Shetland Boat

Hi there, I’m being honest as possible hence the long essay below 😁😁, plus you know a fisherman loves to go on and on and on... This is my trusty 17 foot Shetland fishing boat. I’ve used it for the past 6 years as a commercial bass boat on the south coast. I’m upgrading hence reason for sale...I’ve purchased another used boat which came with a 90hp Yamaha 2 stroke which I’m swapping over to this Shetland as I’m keeping my original engine. The Yamaha has recently only been used of fresh water lakes in Scotland. The Yamaha is currently on a pallet but can be mounted and wired to work.

I will list the price below. I’m selling these two items ( boat and engine are being sold as a unit but will only mount the engine if instructed by the buyer ). As I’ve another project i haven’t had the time to give this a good old clean, but I can assure you a day cleaning an another day painting the deck and she comes up a treat. ( believe me I do it every year ). It can come with a trailer but I will list the adjustable prices below with or without the trailer.

The canopy is made and installed by myself and it’s been a god send in both keeping out the wind and rain but also the sun. All I do is fit a couple of clear tarp sheets either side with cable ties and it make a enclosed shelter from the elements, and easily removed if not wanted. I can get the engine fitted and up and working if requested, but that will be added to the cost... Boat and engine ( engine on a pallet un mounted ) £3000 Boat and engine mounted and working £3500 ( a non refundable deposit of £500 will be needed to mount the engine ) All the above prices is without a trailer, if you want a trailer add on £750. I could get someone in to clean the boat up at a cost of £200 if requested also.
