Shetland Cabin Cruiser Boat

Hi and welcome to my advert for Miranda, our fiberglass cabin cruiser. I've listed her as a Shetland as the design is typical of their boats but I've not found any identification marks to confirm this. She is totally watertight, very stable and we've had a lot of good times with her. The previous owner used to take her fishing a few miles out to sea but I've just used her locally with the kids on the Ouse. When I bought her (4 years ago) the paint was peeling and the woodwork was tatty.

I gave her a coat of yacht paint which I've since touched up (brush / roller) with good quality exterior gloss and replaced the doors etc. She doesn't come with an outboard but I'm probably going to sell my 7.5hp separately which moves Miranda at a reasonable pace. The small cabin has 4 storage hatches with a larger space at the stern for fuel tank etc. With a board filling the gap between the seats it's large enough to sleep in (and I'm 6ft 3)! She has an adjustable transom (for spare engine) and comes with anchor, working bilge pump, bumpers, fuel tank and navigation light.

There's steering and throttle controls fitted but they're disconnected at the rear (I just sit on the back and steer with the outbound steering arm), and switches for lights, bilge pump etc. No battery fitted. Obviously the steering could be reinstated with the right adaptors. Miranda comes with a trailer but it's quite rusty so you'll need to decide if you want to trust it on the road (the tyres hold air). Short distances should be ok.

If needs be I can help transfer to your own trailer. I'm looking for a quick sale to fund a summer holiday. I am an honest seller and expect the same of buyers. If you don't come and view the boat or at least make contact before bidding then I may decline your offer as I don't want any time wasters. She's a great little boat with a sensible starting price.
