Shetland GH14 Boat

Here for sale is my Shetland GH14 GRP boat and Mariner 15hp four stroke outboard and trailer. The boat is 14 ft long and in excellent condition . It has storage for fuel tank, battery for fishfinder etc under rear seat. It is double skinned so should be unsinkable, there are two drain plugs in the floor and one in the transom, there has never been any leakage when i have removed the outer drain plug. It has two aluminium oars and rows very easily.Being a Shetland it is very well made and is very seaworthy.

It also comes with a factory made cover which is a bit faded. The engine is a 15hp four stroke Mariner which I bought from Bill Higham marine on the 16.8.18 and is still under warranty, receipt available on sale. It has only done about 11 hours since new and is a manual start and starts first time as you would expect of a brand new engine, it is very quite and economical .It was professionally winterised and started second pull after six months in storage. Not sure of the make of the trailer but is in very good condition, I replaced the bearings and keel rollers last June before towing from Leicester to Chichester. I have greased the bearings after every retrieve, the boat is stored under cover less than 100mtrs from where I launched so has not cover any milliage.

The wheels look dirty on the pics but that if grease and see no point in wiping it off. The boat is stored under cover at Itchenor which is on Chichester harbour NOT AT LEICESTER.The boat could be viewed without me not being there but you will only be able to remove the cover to view. I am happy to come down any weekend to show you the engine running etc. The whole outfit is in excellent condition and if you are seriously looking for something of this size and price range you will struggle to find a better one.Included in the sale is my Hook2 GPS/ fishfinder new last August anchor rope and chain,mufflers and grease gun. I put a lot of thought and work into this outfit to get it just right and had no intention of selling it when I put it in storage for the winter but unfortunately due to unforeseen health problems over the winter I am now forced to give it up.I can promise you you will not be disappointed with it.
