Solent 740i Rib Boat

Hello and thank you for viewing my boat. If you are looking for a fast, fun family RIB then this is the boat for you. She was manufactured in Gosport in 2013 and I have owned her from new. The boat is in great condition and has aways been stored on a platform out of the water (no anti-fowl) and always run through with fresh river water meaning no corrosion of the engine. The seating arrangement allows for four jockey seats and a bench seat at the rear, perfect for sitting back and enjoying the views.

There is also a seat at the front of the console allowing for two more people. This is the only boat made from this mould to date and incorporates a twin step design meaning excellent performance at speed and solid handling when cruising. There is a Lowrance GPS chart plotter, vhf radio, nav lights, paddles, anchor, fenders, ropes and full bespoke fitted winter cover all included within the sale.She is powered by a Suzuki DF200 engine pushing the boat to speeds in excess of 50 knots when required. The engine has very low hours (circa 500) and has been serviced every year by Suzuki and has been well looked after. The propeller is stainless steel and has no damage.

As the boat is used in Christchurch Harbour (shallow water) I fitted a jack plate which also increases efficiency and performance. It also has twin Lenco stainless steel trim tabs for further handling enhancement. This boat has served me and my family well for the last 6 years and is only being sold due to upgrading to a larger boat. If you are looking to cruise down the river or harbour with your family you can do this in great comfort, or if it is fun you are after on the water this boat can easily pull water skiers or various water toys. Being a rib it is very easy to manoeuvre and moor up and requires very little maintenance.

The tubes are in fantastic order and have no holes or repairs. Viewing will be appointment only and in Christchurch, Dorset.
