Wellcraft Excel 26SE Power Boat

1995 Wellcraft Excel 26SE power cruising boat. We have owned this boat for three years, it is an ideal starter boat and was a great introduction to boating for us. We are only selling as we have decided to move to a sailing yacht. The boat has many upgrades including a bow thruster and electric windless which made this the perfect starter boat for us. The boat has spent most of its life in Cardiff Bay which is fresh water.
We keep her in Penarth marina and use her in Cardiff Bay and the Bristol Channel. She has a large cockpit area with fold down sun pad, an open plan cabin with a very large aft berth, bow converts into another double berth, galley and separate heads area. The boat has a full camper cover which was professional laundered and updated in 2019. Since then 2 panel’s have been relocated and it has been taken off each winter, cleaned and stored at home. She also has a full custom made tonneau cover (new in 2020).
The boat is in very good condition with many upgrades as below. A full professional survey was also completed in December 2018. Every year she comes out of the water for maintenance. In March 2021 she had a full cut/polish, antifoul renewed and anodes changed. Cockpit. Looked after for many years by Team Marine in Penarth and it comes with comprehensive service history. Surprising economical, it is hardly working when cruising around the bay and on a recent trip to Portishead she was running for 4.30hrs and used £80 of fuel.
