4M Avon Searider Rib With Yamaha 40hp 2-stroke Outboard.

These ribs are known for their sea worthiness, the flooding twin skinned hull give fantastic stability at low speed and whilst stationary. At high speed and whilst planing these ribs are beautifully maneuverable and very quick.The tubes are in good condition for its age and hold air indefinitely.The boat is a centre console set up with new battery and Yamaha fuel tank enclosed beneath leaving a little extra stowage for the included anchor and other accessories. The rib comes on a galvanized trailer. One of the rope attachment points needs fixing, see picture. This boat is a fantastic all rounder.

With its high top speed and slow speed stability it is equally suited to fishing, diving as well as fun in the water and towing inflatables. Background: 2 seasons ago the engine had its mid section replacement, so stripped serviced and rebuilt by a local Yamaha dealer. The trailer wheels were replaced at this stage. My plans were to get out and use the boat but unfortunately other commitments deemed this not possible so the boat has sat on the trailer unused. I replaced the battery and the engine stated and pumps water as expected.

The trailer looks solid and roadworthy but an inspection would be recommended.
