Atlantic 195 Centre Console Boat (2009) Built in the USA, this boat is perfect for a whole range of family activities. From great relaxing days out with room for up to 6 people, fishing (with multiple rod holders & storage) and even for fun towing inflatables. This sale includes the following;Yamaha F115 (4 stroke) outboard engine - very low hours (only 136). These engines are the best on the market and are extremely reliable, this is barely run in! Starts on first turn of the key every time and runs beautifully.
Engine is always flushed with fresh water after every use and fully serviced by Power Products Marine (Rochester) every 25 hours - receipts will be included with boat documentationRaymarine Chartplotter, Fishfinder, Depth Sounder & Radar system - maps for Europe includedSBS Trailer (Braked)Built-in VHF RadioRopes, Buoys & FendersDetachable Cushions On-Board Pumped Hose & Live Bait Well - never usedIn-built CoolboxAnchorBrand new battery (Oct 2021)Flush muff and hoseInflatable towing ropePlastic Boarding LadderLight Board for TrailerMultiple Built-in Rod HoldersBuilt-in Tackle Tray OrganiserGeneral Condition:Sea Otter is in very good condition overall. The upholstery is in good condition, with two of the seats being recently recovered partially. The bow and rear cushions are detachable and we keep them at home when the boat is not in use. The hull was antifouled in 2019 but was sat on the trailer since relaunch this August. Positives:As mentioned above, the engine has been so reliable, it doesn't miss a beat and we've never felt the need to fit an auxiliary.
Being four stroke, its very economical and the built-in fuel tank is enormous (300 Litres I believe). We get the local Yamaha specialists to regularly service and winterise the engine and have receipts as record. Getting on a plane is easy and she tops out at about 28-30 knots. If I could find a bigger boat that could take this engine I would swap it over for sure. Negatives:As the photos show, blue gel coat to the hull has faded, mainly towards the rear.
This is common in dark GRP boats and it was how I bought the boat (in 2014). I have spent time rubbing it back with compound a few times over the years which brings it back, but it does fade again eventually. If we were keeping the boat I would have had it wrapped it in vinyl or painted it and it would look like the £50k boat it was when new. The GPS antenna will need a new battery. Given time the satellite will acquire but the chart plotter is so good you want it working straight away.
Reason For Sale: Sea Otter was winterised in 2019 and sat on the hard until August this year due to lockdown and family health issues. We are now looking for a bigger boat that we can use on weekends away. Mooring: Currently Sea Otter is in the water in a marina on the Medway, Kent. The prospective owner is more than welcome to take over the mooring for an additional fee, if that is preferable to collection. All in all this is a fantastic boat that always turns heads, we will be sad to see her go.
Sea Otter is currently in the water for viewing. .................................................................................. For more information online, you can view a YouTube video review of the features of the Atlantic 195 Centre Console here https://www.youtube.com/watch? V=CLJYc6V8arA
