Motor/sailor Yamaha 24 Excellent Condition

My beautiful Yamaha 24 motor sailor. It seems I can only put 12 photo's on here so if you e-mail me I will send you another load. She has just been out of the water for a refit and anti-foul, the hull is just about perfect, no damage, no osmosis. She has a 3/4 fin keel but has beaching legs which bolt onto the side if needed. The engine was replaced with the GM10 about 8 years ago and has done less than 400 hours !!

And is in perfect condition, starts on the button, and uses just over a litre an hour! It has five berths.....if you are very friendly!!. A new Jabsco sea toilet last year, a new spray hood last week !! New fenders, interior re-upholstered. It has :- Raymarine speed log, Raymarine wind speed and direction, Raymarine 620 plotter, Raymarine autopilot/tillerpilot.

Garmin152 GPS, Garmin 48 handheld GPS, fishfinder, echosounder, DSC radio, handheld radio, radio/CD player with twin speakers. 100a/h domestic battery, 40a/h engine battery on a changeover switch. Automatic bilge pump plus new spare, though having repacked the stuffing box she doesn't take any water. Wheel steering on binnacle with engine controls. There is a 1kw inverter if you want 240volt and she is wired for mains.

There is a electric kettle, electric hob for use in the marina and a gas ring and kettle when at sea. The cold water is on a electric pump, got rid of the foot pump!. She only has 5ft 6in headroom but clever Japanese have made the dual hatchcover removable so giving standing headroom in the galley area. The port locker is positively cavernous.She has a furling Genoa, a fully battened main with slab reefing and lazyjacks. Full navigation and anchor lights lights.The stern has a removable panel to give access to the bathing platform and boarding ladder also has a outboard bracket.

I am happy for any survey or inspection but I am on holiday till the 3rd Oct though I should be able to answer any questions on my phone. There is a reserve which I will not budge on, I am only selling because everything is getting harder....I am nearly 80 years of age ex R.Y.A yacht-master instructor. Had ambitions of sailing her to Antigua...my wife thought I was mad, though I have trans-Atlantic twice. Please, please no hull kickers this boat is quality not often seen on a boat of this size.Whoever buys her I will give a full induction and if need be deliver her to your port, subject to weather.
