Boat Use: Fresh mainly, salt (5 times)
Boat Type: Rigid Inflatable
Year of Registration: 2012
Featured Refinements: RIB
For sale is my 4m Xpro Rib which has a 2012 Yamaha 20hp 4stroke engine on the back. Purchased this a couple of years ago, it has given us plenty of fun whilst owning it. Really is a great boat. We live in Reading, Berkshire and mostly have used it on the Thames, however I have taken it to the sea about 5 times now with a buddy to go do some fishing and cross over to the Isle of White. It has Hypalon tubes which are in great condition and do not loose any air.
It has a new electrical panel which I installed which has 2x usb outlets, 1 cigarette lighter outlet, battery voltage indicator display and a bilge pump switch (automatic/ manual). The bilge pump is a nice low profile type which can be manually or automatically operated. There is a Garmin fish finger / depth finder installed and a transducer at the back of the boat. The rib is in pretty good condition (couple of scratches underneath although nothing major and the handles on the Hypalon tubes were pulled off as when I originally bought the boat, noticed they were glued on quite poorly. This bundle is going to be sold as one as I am not really interested in selling all the bits separately, it would take too much time.
This boat would really suit a beginner looking into getting into the RIB game. It really is a great boat, with 2 people on board and all the fishing gear it gets up on the plane really nicely in a bit of choppy water out at sea. I have had about 5 adults going up and down the Thames at a nice slow pace. Just cant fault this boat! The trailer which it comes with has had a new jockey wheel fitted and almost new wheel hubs and bearings installed (approx 8 months ago).
It has been washed and flushed after every use. Some of the kit as pictured includes:A standard horizon HX890 VHF/ DSC radio (about a year old, would need to get this registered in the new owners name)2x Self inflating life jackets (1 of them needs servicing, I do have the cannister however not sure its quite as simple as screwing it in as I tried before)1x Manual adult life jacket and 1x child's manual life jacketBoat maintenance products (rib tube protector, engine de-scaler, lubricants, grease and a grease gun applicator.Boat paperwork (manuals etc)Lots of different types of ropes including nice lengthy brand new ropes. Unfortunately during my last trip out to sea, a buddy of mine decided to throw in the anchor which I told him not too and the tide was so powerful that we could not retrieve it so a new anchor would be required. I could purchase this beforehand if you prefer. It has 3 or 4 ( could only find 3 but I am sure I have 4) boat fenders.Has 2 yellow trailer wheel chocks.Has a mini first aid package and a relatively new powder fire extinguisher2x extendable oarsEven has a Stainless steel eyelet and washer tool for when I redone all the eyelets around the boat. The boat also comes with a outboard cover and a full boat cover which has been in my loft the entire duration I have owned it as this boat has always been dry stored inside my garage.
Reason for sale is I do not have the time or space anymore to keep it. I am focusing on moving my company forward and the space is much needed and the money as well for another company vehicle purchase. I am absolutely gutted as my family and I have had so much fun with this boat. It is a shame that is has come to this. I have spent a lot of time and money getting it to where it is with all these additional accessories and upgrading certain bits to the boat.
It will be missed and my partner and little boy are not going to be my fan for a little while. It is all ready to be towed away, it has a trailer board plate and extra straps to safely secure it during transit.Collection will be in Reading, Berkshire. I am not wanting to budge too much on the listed price, I am not in a rush to get rid of the boat. Boat will NOT leave my possession until I have funds cleared in my account, either cash or bacs. I am more than happy to launch the boat down the local river and we can have a quick ride on it.
However please do not waste my time if you are not actually interested in purchasing it or wanting to get it for peanuts. Any more information, please do not hesitate to contact (I have probably missed a lot of info). Viewings welcome anytime as long as I am not out for work. I do have this for sale elsewhere, so may cancel this listing at any time. Thanks for reading.
