Yamaha Waverunner Jetski fx140 Crusier MR1

This is my 2006 Yamaha Fx140 cruiser with Bramber roller trailer and high flotation wide wheels. The ski its self is very reliable, fast and stable also very good for towing (rubber rings/ inflatables) I have never had any problems with the ski and its always started first time on the button. The hours on the ski are sitting at 244 and they prob will rise. If you look around the 4 stroke yams with the MR1 engines are going into the 1000s of hours (very reliable if not THE most reliable engine in skis) The engines are NA so no need to worry about the supercharger problems. I use the ski almost every week or weekend weather depending so hence the high hours and I also like to go distances rather than blast round in circles (personal preference).

I replace the battery every year just to be sure and I service the ski every 20hrs (oil, oil filter, and plugs) Last service was at 239hrs and was a main service including air filter (just cost me £99). I also always spray the engine compartment inc engine mounts etc with silicone spray, this keeps the water off parts and protects them from any corrosion. Also I always WD40 metal parts and the rollers on the trailer after every use. I Would rater spend a little more looking after the ski and have a reliable one. The ski is totally standard apart from the new air filter as it is an uprated washable one.

Bad bits; Some scuffs on front (expected from 11y/o ski) Also there is a rip in the seat happens to most cruiser seats unfortunately, even the newer ones.
