Zodiac Ribster 400 Rigid Inflatable, Trailer, Yamaha 30 Outboard

I am selling my excellent 4 meter Zodiac RIB complete with trailer, accessories and Yamaha 30hp engine. It has been a great family boat, but is now just a bit too small for us, so we have bought a new larger zodiac. With 4 adults aboard, it easily jumps up onto the plane and does 25-30mph using around 7 to 8 litres per hour. The tubes hold pressure perfectly and are in very good condition. There is minor scuffing on the underside of the hull and the usual signs of use, but for the year it is in very good condition.

Please study the pictures (taken 3 days ago); do not expect “immaculate and indistinguishable from new”; expect “remarkably good condition for a 10+ year old RIB, and absolutely ready for use with no work required! ”. It has been garaged in the UK for most of its life, and more recently garaged and used in the south of France. Today (14/5) I have just arrived back in Stockport with the boat, having towed it 1100 miles in the last 36 hours without difficulty (the trailer tows beautifully; 80mph all through 850 miles of France, where this is legal). Viewing is welcome by arrangement. The engine is in fantastic condition; always flushed with fresh water after use, and has been fully serviced for this season including a new plugs, gearbox oil, impeller and anodes.

The autolube system is perfect and the paint is like new. Please note that it is pull-start, so no danger of a flat battery leaving you stranded. This sale includes the boat, the Yamaha 30, a very good boat cover, the trailer and the anchor/ropes/pump/life jackets etc. It’s a complete ready-to-go package. Please note that the auxiliary 3.5hp Tohatsu outbound shown in the pictures is not included, as that is being moved to my new boat (and it has never been used because the Yamaha has never failed).

Rather than setting a reserve and a low starting bid; £2500 is the lowest I will let it go for, but I know it’s worth much more. There’s no point in messaging me and offering £2500. The winning bidder is asked to pay £250 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of completion of the auction, with the balance payable on or before collection from SK7 in cash or via bank transfer. Collection is to be within 7 days of the end of the auction unless otherwise agreed with me beforehand.
